Step Away From The Box

A poem about being secretive

In this box is a flame,

That can light up the darkness

In this box is a seed,

That can grow flowers in the desert

Step away from it

A box can only be guarded for so long

Others will look inside

And not be so scared

Words almost said,

Are not cared for

Thoughts almost expressed,

Are not cared for

Step away from the box,

Others will look inside

And wonder

Why were the flame and the seed kept

In this box?

Let the flame burn bright

Let the flowers bloom in the desert

Great poem. If I looked into the box, I would pull out the light, to light the world. I would pull out the seed, and plant the desert with beautiful flowers, add a little more light and brightness to the world. Great work! Keep writing!
