Cravings for Peace

Cravings for Peace

A Poem by Confuser
"

Just thoughts about God; seeking peace in our world, in our mind, heart and soul.

"

Captivity Released ……to

Satisfy peace we may feel the sting

The buzzing of a honey bee can bring

But without this pain we cannot sing

Sweet glorious melodies nature’s harmony brings

Kind spirit leads us calling out our name

Heed the call - compassion sprinkles generously upon us all

Taking us to places we never thought possible - through love’s creative

Wisdom forgiving and guiding uniting us together revealing our power

Remembering who we are ego’s shame cowers into the grave

Believe in yourself and in God’s giving grace- return a glance and peace will remain

Look with open hearts deep into the soul belief and faith infinitely grows

It will never let go forever growing stronger Like a Mourning Dove sounds, enveloping our forest’s echoing for love all instincts of death forgone above

The hawk‘s piercing cry can come anytime but for love he calls without resign; no worries can enter a peaceful mind

A most provocatively thought provoking write ... To be worry free is to truly live free ... At the same time life presents worries that must be dealt with whether we like it or not ... But why worry more than need be ... I really like this piece, as I love all of your heart penned to page ... You make me think, contemplate, and wonder in the wonderment of it all ... Grand write ...

I loved these stanza's lines Beautiful!

The hawk‘s piercing cry can come anytime but for love he
calls without resign;
no worries can enter a peaceful mind.

King James Verse.John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.

King James verse. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect
peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

When our minds are stayed upon Jesus
our mind will be at peace as were not focusing
on the bad and problems we are letting go and allow
God to take control and not the bad situation to steal
our peace.

Nicely said and Beautifully penned.

A great poem on Peace...Reading the amazing thoughts that came to your mind this morning, I was reminded that a good deed is often reciprocated and peace can be attained with kindness and love, if we just have the faith. Yes, as you so beautifully state in the poem, death, ego and rancour may remain but with peace and love, we can laugh in their face. You have reinforced my thoughts on peace with this great poem, Dale. Appreciated so much.

Such a beautiful piece of writing! The rhyming lines come together flawlessly, and it gives me a peace of mind to think about what I am doing -- making myself restless, depriving myself from the amity I should have enjoyed. Indeed "for love he calls without resign".

May we all be free from worries and live with a peaceful mind.

Wonderful poem!

pardon me if i go off point here but this made me remember something, in my moments of doubt and worry it seems like my faith is at its lowwest but if i try and listen closely, there's always that small voice in my heart whispering that maybe, just maybe this is only for a moment or maybe there's a way around this though i haven't figure it out yet. So if i shut everything else and listen to that voice it gets louder and i realize that my faith is not at its weakest, it's growing stronger..

Too much? Lol, i'll end there. nyc write!
