Love Winks

Every morning I walk the edge of the woods,

The rising shining sun winks at me passing behind trees,

We play our game as a ritual or a prayer,

We love our hellos and goodbyes,

Awaiting morning’s glaring flares,

Love is everywhere and nowhere.

 

Playing hide and seek,

I will find you, will you blink a wink?

 

I have become an insomniac, anticipating attention,

but like a train,

I can change my tracks.

To find you wherever you may go,

The roaring whistle of love loudly blows.

Your rhyming is so great, it seems like it comes naturally doesn't feel forced, which is great.
This seems pretty romantic again, I love a bit of romance :)
but like a TRAIN,

I do take a break from writing but when I get a idea I jot them down so my mind is always racing with thoughts it seems. take your time no rush. take care Benita :)

I am; last nite; I was trying to remember the words; and it was good; love and it flowed, dog/kid/husband distracted me but that's okay; I will get a pad, but I pray for guidance with words and poetry; not to write anything "wonderful", not "praiseworthy" just something that may help others, at least one in some way. Benita, the stars were unreal last night; it was cold, but my son & I went outside and looked - we are so blessed, looking at that ceiling and God's majestic world. I am so thankful. God bless you; and I know he will.

I always pray and ask god's help when I write he is the author of my words I give it over to him the inspiration comes from him. the stars are beautiful here and we even get to see full moons it is Gorgeous what god does with the sky. but some day when we live in a place that doesn't do rent for our income I will be a published writer and when I have the money it is something I know will happen just taking longer and I have patience's I have loved writing since a child and I am a writer but we all go at our own speed and when it happens it will it is a feeling you get all through you bones like you know something will happen I get that when I know something will happen that is god to me. Sounds beautiful I love the nights star skies. family is a blessing and so are friends :) blessings. Benita

Wow, riki, you are so kind. A wonderful girl, Ana Sophia, you'll love her writing; so talented - encouraged me to post it. I wrote it so quickly, I could believe I could be that lucky. I'm new to writing, but people here are so encouraging, wonderful; I've learned so much by reading. You'll love it! Hey, there are absolutely unbelievable writers on here; so many; see below jacob erin-cilberto; I'm like you still learning my way around but if you like mine; you will be blown away when you begin to read here; I loved your poem; Rudi is another unbelievable poet, but there are so, so many. glad she did give you the courage---this is a good look at just how love is everywhere and nowhere at the same time...i guess it is how we look at it, or look for it...and if we see it when it is right in front of us.
