Laments Left Unspoken

Laments Left Unspoken

A Poem by Briana Noël Manzano
"

all the weight of a simple sigh can carry so much more than words, words that will never be realized.

"
He sighed,
Unspoken words falling upon the dusty table that divides us
Like lost treasures settling on the ocean floor-
Treasures guarded by monsters unknown,
Abandoned to the fathomless shadows of the abyss.

I am both hopeful AND infuriated to find someone so much more intelligent than I. Loved the somber tone in this one Bri!

Many thanks again, Scott. I am sure you are underestimating your own intelligence!
