You left, I'm dead

You left, I'm dead

A Poem by White Rose

A teacher, a mentor
that's what you are.
A friend, a companion
that's what I knew.
A dream, an image
that's what you gave me.

The sun rises and falls
just as our lungs do.
Every breath, every heartbeat
it's like a day that goes by.
But what if they stop?

I feel sick, sick to my stomach
I loved you and cherished you
now... I can't even look at you.
Tears fall every time I do.
You left me! I didn't leave you!

Should I be mad at you?
You left me here by myself,
just as every one else.
You... me... who should I blame?

My days no longer change.
The seasons no longer pass.
The years... I grow older but stay the same.

I guess time will only tell
I'll know one day.
But for now I should just live.
Like you've said to do...
... From the beginning.

White Rose
This was for my grandmother, not the best but also not my last for her.
