Mama

A touch, a kiss, a hug

these wonderful things,

but- they're important most,

by only you, Mother.

 

A child's God,

a child's angel,

a child's only best friend.

Only you, even to me,

Mother, you are all.

 

A tear will shed,

a laughter will be heard,

thick and thin will happen,

and, mother, you're there

every time and every way.

 

Mama, I know I've been a pain.

Mama, I know I can be a blast.

Mama, you're that and much more.

You're no other mom,

this I can say whole-heartedly.

 

I love you mama,

I will always love you mama.

Your love is so special,

even when it may seem not.

 

Mama, I cherish even moment.

I never want to say good-bye.

Mama, I miss you always

when your not around.

 

I'm there for you

just as you are for me,

and mama, I wouldn't change that

not even for everything in the universe,

because to me you are my universe.

 

Not even my poetry could prove this:
I love you and forever will.

And Mama, I couldn't ask for a better mom.
