Daddy

Daddy

A Story by White Rose

It's raining daddy, it always is.

The thunder, it's scarry daddy.

The lightning...he's comming for me.

Daddy, hold me, please, protect me.

Mommy's gone missing again,

there's no food, no water, no you.

Daddy, it's so lonely without you.

Why did you go?

Mommy told me that you would be back yesterday,

but now all she does is cry and go misssing, why?

Did you and mommy have another fight?

Where is your plane now?

Mommy threw the tv out today.

She said it was bad and was lying.

She cries when she thinks I'm not there.

Daddy, did I do something bad?

Is this a punishment?

I went to school today, daddy.

My teachers were very nice today,

their eyes were so very sad.

Why were they sad?

Did you and mommy go away?

My teacher told me what mommy couldn't,

why did that happen daddy?

Why did those men do it?

She told me your plane crashed,

you were no longer living.

Daddy, it's been five years,

mom still dissappears from time to time.

It's only going to get worse, I know.

Daddy, I miss you and always will,

but your death is being avenged.

I'm doing it, Dad, I'm a military woman.
