My dear slime

My dear slime

A Poem by White Rose
"

Troubles with an ex-friend.

"

Can I ask you something?

Can I trust you even?

Will I get hurt by you?

Don't answer, slime.

Of all my troubles

you are my worst.

I trusted you,

I believed you.

I befriended you,

and you cut me deep.

Now I'm sitting here,

wondering what I did wrong,

believeing it was my fault.

You are sitting in jail,

what are you wondering about?

Do you feel bad?

Do you feel sick,

because I do.

Do you wish to turn back time,

stop yourself from what you did?

I do, everyday do I.

I wish I never talked to you.

I wish I never trusted you,

never befriended you.

Maybe, just maybe...

never would I have been hurt.

My tears you will never see,

my fears will you never hear,

the terror I've had since...

you are the cause.

Know this, my dear slime,

never come near me again.

I don't want to be hurt.

No more will I by you.
