For a Friend

This is a poem that I wrote for a friend, so I hope you like just as much as I hope he does.

You're funny and sweet

and, also, even caring.

You're just like a treat

or something worth wearing.

You're a price that isn't cheap

but worth a great faring.

you walked down my street

and I saw you gleaming.

You're a jewel in the heat,

this I must be dreaming.

You're a friend that can't be beat

and that's worth sharing.

Author's Note

I hope it's fun and colorful and also ever meaningful, and to the person this is dedicated to: I hope you like it though it doesn't even justify what you mean to me but I gave it a shot and it may not get any better but, still, I hope you like it.
