Nothing helps

Nothing helps

A Poem by White Rose
"

This is just a poem I wrote while I was sad it doesn't make much sense to me but hey what can you do? I hope you enjoy it anyway.

"
Small tears shed
they fall right on this bed
a broken heart shatters
as it's protector gets battered
a family is torn
it's been pricked by a thorn
no one can smile
at least not for a long while

children weep
at the sad sight
they even have a fright
they stand confused
wondering why
should they refuse?
their hearts hurt and souls burned
they leave their house and parents

The scene is bad
"what did they have?"
a cop asks
"no one knows,"
his partner grownes.
"what have these kids gone through?"
runs through all cops' minds
will they ever know?

Screams rise in the dark
tears are shed throughout the night
a gunshot is heard in the room
laughter penetrates in the minds of the terrified
helplessness weighs heavy on the innocent
what can anyone do to help
nothing can be said to help the ones who hurt
nothing can heal scars or broken hearts with holes

I hope it was enjoyable. I can only say that It may not rhyme but its still pleasureable. I was listening to "I think God can explain" by Splender when I worte this.
