My Mommy Sea

My Mommy Sea

A Poem by White Rose
"

This is a poem I submitted to poetry.com and they liked it. So I thought I should submit it here. I hope you like it. It starts with a girl at the beach and the day is fading to night and she wishes to not leave but when she gets home she runs to her moth

"

Sitting on my knees
I feel the cool breeze
I smell the sea air
In my golden hair
The sun beaming down
Warming my gown
I hear the sea gulls
As the sun dulls
The light hits my face
Making my heart pace
Walking down the beach
I hear the gulls screech
I know I must go
But I don't want to roll
While I'm gazing
The sun is fading
I hear the dolphins breathe
While watching me
Run home to my mommy
My mom promises me
She'll go to the sea
Tomorrow night
When it's not so bright
