InterviewA Story by Nick Almanza" Why do you do this?" Asks the reporter " This peaceful revolution, What made you start it all?" " A simple answer " I responded " Pain, anger , and hate. That is what started all of this. " " How so? " " Growing up, I saw things, I felt things that no kid ever even cared about. I would stare for hours at the homeless, Their dirty clothes, collecting bottles and cans. I saw how others mocked the poor and the beaten down. How they laughed and felt no remorse. How they offered no help, but talked about them like they saved all the poor from death. Now i offered no help as well, but i was a kid what help could i offer? I watched as kids my age laughed at people who ate from trash bins, and hating them, for what difference was there? Between those who mocked? and those being mocked? " " But no person is the same, we all make bad choices and well those homeless just made all bad." " You dont see, We are all equal. We are all human beings. All the same in both body and mind, we all feel the same about everything. Anger towards one another, sadness. I dream of a world where everyone truly understands each other." © 2009 Nick AlmanzaAuthor's Note
