I cant sleep

Tell ya the truth. ..has been two days now but whatever

I cant sleep

Something on my mind

But i dont know what it is

Or i dont wanna know

Whatever it is

It keep me up all night

I stroll around

The house,

Backyard,

Then neighborhood

It all seems so peacefull

Yet still raging with life

All the people are asleep

Dreaming their dreams

Or nightmares

And their fantasy's of lust

Still i cannot sleep

I sit on the roof

Staring at the cars that pass

Seeing the bright lights

Losing myself

Seeing myself

Great flow of emotion.. yes many are feeling this.. we had a very long dark winter.. that's what I will call it.. the darkest I can ever remember in my life.. where I am it was environment.. everyone is depressed..inactivity... I feel it.. I can read eyes and faces.. I can hear it in their voices and words even on this site.. people struggling to find their emotions.. it feels as though the silence before the storm.. I feel there will be a flurry of activity this spring and summer.. I'm hoping not increased violence in the wake of everything that has happened across most countries.. artists I feel are soundboards of truth..we pick up those emotions very sensitively of those around us. Your writing picks this up.. superbly.. I can relate. The silent dark is both creepy and numbing for me right now there are times where it is peaceful and relaxing.. it just isnt' now.

I can feel this in my gut. I feel identical, maybe because of the isolation, lack of being understood, but there is so much strenght in this that is specifically pointed to the isolation and having no one to converse other than your redundant but also loving self. Great work !
