Living Dolls

Living Dolls

A Poem by DwellerComplex
"

When technology takes over life.

"

Bright neon lights in the city core,

A myriad of floating dreams,

Distorted and hard to read,

Through the windows and the rain.

Outside are those wandering machines.

Are they human?

What is life when you can live forever?

Is it better?

The clock has lost its perpose,

The food is just for taste,

Games are calculated actions,

The apple touched and remade.

Transparent stories crippled by repetition.

What is a dwellercomplex worth,

When the dwellers live by the rule of code,

And not desires?
