MomentumA Poem by Cass Ashe
It's just human nature,
We hate change. Some are content with living the same life Every day. Maybe I'm just a free spirit, Because if I lived the same life Every day, I would free my spirit. I've pushed people to get through things With all the might I can muster And they hung their feet forward Saying they need me to keep pushing. Momentum momentum Memento mori. More mindless moving Mutilates me. Letting go they stop, Momentum gone. Weight gone, They stop letting go.
