More then best friends? Where do we stand? Free Verse Poem

Tell me again, where it is that we stand.
We both have our hearts tied to another.

But proclaim that we deeply love each other.

Can you tell me? Where it is that we stand?

On those long nights, strolling the beach..

When it is you I call out to, You whom I Reach.

Once more I shall ask, Where is it we stand?

My heart's on the line.. With one of two ways to go..

And this is one thing, that I NEED to know.

Where is it we stand?
