Just Some ThoughtsA Poem by CompellingComposerThis doesn't make much sense, but then again, neither do I.
Perfection
That isn’t what I’m seeing Lost inside of my mind Cold inside of my being I told myself I wont miss you And slowly, you’re gonna be gone Heck if you were really mine in the first place Heck was I wrong So much pain around me I don’t wanna think about it anymore I told myself the door was slammed and locked But my fingers got closed in the door Why is parting sweet sorrow? I find it more sour And if time is so short Does that make infinity an hour? I’m loosing my step Talking in my sleep Tossing and turning Throwing back the sheets My dreams haunt me My tears burn My body aches for a touch But I want loneliness, when will I learn? Age is but a number And possibly mine will be small Because time flies After all © 2011 CompellingComposerReviews
