"Death of Me"

"Death of Me"

A Poem by Ariadne Grey
"

Too much love will kill you. And you just might let it.

"
" The fall itself was to be my end
But murder was your intention
With gentle touches I could not fend
To drown in your affection
You stabbed me with your eyes
You pierced me with your tongue
Smothered me with your mouth
Your breath burns in my lungs
Deafen me with your laughter and blind me with your smile
Drive me mad for every touch I cannot claim as mine
Starve me of your presence, a thirst for which I'll never quench
Let me bleed for you that I may put this heart to rest
And maybe that will stop the disease spreading from my chest
Strangle me or else I'll choke on all I have to say
Torture me by leaving since you'll never seek to stay
Let me taste your sweet poison, then send me to eternal sleep
At least then I'll have you in my fading dreams
But, my lovely murderer, this will always remain true
I will even gladly burn my soul just for you "
