Good NightA Poem by CommonA poem of love and where it takes memy heart feels heavy and my mind left bare. I am alive when you are around, when you are gone, I lie underground. A corpse compared to what I was once, an empty vessel prepared to ensconce, the comfortable place in which you reside, where my heart sits, with yours at it's side. They beat in time as our minds climb. To loftier places than mere mortals go, where we look upon them, far far below. We travel to places only our minds will see, I see through you and you see through me. Our journeys are special and when we return, It feels like our minds have suffered sunburn. They feel so hot and about to ignite, with ideas we'll discuss all through the night. Till the early sun rises and makes us feel, that our old reality is simply unreal. We stand hand in hand and gaze at the light, and we know that everything will be alright. © 2015 CommonAuthor's Note
