Stanger.

Stanger.

A Poem by Emmily Wood

I see you walking through the streets.
You hold her in your arms.
You smile at her, she’s the love of your life.
Just like you said I was yours.
I guess everyone tells lies.
Her eyes, lit up, believing all you tell her.
She doesn’t understand.
You walk right by me…you don’t even glance.
You act as if we never had any romance.
I guess it’s how life goes.
I’m just a stranger…drowning in her sorrow.
