Violent Nature

Violent Nature

A Poem by Commanda Panda

My love will never be gentle

Not after the s**t I’ve endured

My love will never be simple

I’m poisoned, jaded, and impure

I’m a new man; a new fiend

I’m deranged now and unclean

I’m unholy and obscene

I’m tortured; never serene

Come find me if you want me

But beware

Hear the warning

I’m built to hate; bred for hurting

There’s a longing for your touch and to bring you to your knees

My self loathing grows contagious and I’ll pass on the disease

Although I ache to love you, my tries are bound to fail

The demon deep within is the force that shall prevail

I prayed to God for solace, but He doesn’t hear my cries

The madness that becomes me only grows and multiplies

Though I’ve told you what I wanted my wishes have been doomed

And the only urge I have is to leave you with a wound

ahhhh, adventure
I like the rhyme scheme you incorporate here, it gives the poem a melodic and lyrical tone. I also like the conflict and contradictions you convey through this piece. It is very representative of daily life.
