CatatonicA Poem by Commanda PandaI’m running out of words, So read the pain in my eyes. Don’t swallow my excuses And learn to improvise. The lies I’ve learned to speak Have been practiced from day one. As I try to stay afloat I wish that I could run. I’m a dying breed dying to fulfill a need, But it can’t be okay until you take the lead. I’ve been pushed aside and pushed to extremities, And now I only want a little inner peace. I don’t remember love or ever thinking straight. I don’t think I can heal; I can’t regenerate. I’ve put up a shield that few can penetrate, But anyone who does will be the one I venerate. © 2011 Commanda PandaReviews
