Trying

Tonight when I write I’ll keep it real. Nothing on the DL.

Every night I wish I could drink because every night feels like hell.

Whenever I triumph my ego should swell, but I’m looking for bail.

I’m so depressed that every win feels like an epic fail.

Everything is darkness and I’ll never prevail.

I hide away from the sun until I go pale.

I’m never coming out of my shell.

I feel like s**t even when I blaze trails, but oh well.

I’m in constant war with the world as well as myself.
