Be Free

Be Free

A Poem by Jills

I opened up my heart to you
Then you just left and flew
What can I do
Without you

I can be free
I can be me
Without you
I'm single again
I can hang out with friends
Without you

I can hear you whisper to me
You really don't want me free
But it's too late to come back
So it's best if you just hit the road

I can be free
I can be me
Without you
I'm single again
I can hang out with friends
Without you

Life is almost done
But the fun has just begun
So just sit around and wait
Just open up the gate

Just be free
Take it from me
Don't be blue
You know what to do

I can be free
I can be me
Without you
I'm single again
I can hang out with friends
Without you

The end is near
And there's nothing to fear
So just be free
