Never Enough

Never Enough

A Poem by Comewhatevermay

If I had one wish

It'd be to wake up every morning with your skin against mine.

So close our heart beats keeping one time.

I'll keep trying,

But you're dying.

Misery has it's hold on you.

You're drowning.

Blinded, Slipping into nothingness,

Let me show you, I say.

But I can only meet you half way.

Yours & Yours alone...

Yours for the taking.

I'm breaking,

Kissed wide open.

An unprecedented, unconditional love

You've waited your whole life for a love like this.

Pure devotion framed in the sweetest of kisses.

But you don't really,

You don't see me.

Can't you see?

It's killing me.

Would you know the truth if you heard it?
Would you accept a hand to catch your fall?
Would you trust me enough to help you change it all?
I would if you'd let me.
If I could I would.
If only I could.
{Please}

I'd give my all.
Just to be
This close to you.

Beautiful and fragile words of love and understanding that sometimes, people can be their own worst enemies and not see the help in front of their eyes, pleading to make it right. All we can do is keep being who we are and keep showing we can and will be there for them, until we are let go and can no longer reach even half way. Love this piece.

A very sweet and longing poem. I find myself wishing that the subject would allow you to be closer. And when you said please it really intensified my wishing. Awesome piece.
