The World is Alright

The World is Alright

A Poem by Comatose

Sit quietly beside me here
The world is alright
Lend me your lonesome ear,

Shadow me in the night

The peace will come
Along the tides of change

The insanity, succumb

And the threads, derange.

The drifting will start
The emotions will die
Blackness take the heart,

The children will cry.

The words won't hurt,
The cut won't bleed.
With newly plowed dirt,

Around a newly grown seed.

The wounds will heal
The restrictions, bend

The soul be made real,

And the heart will mend

Amazing imagery. I felt a slow, calming vibe to the poem, very well done for such a deep poem.

Great message of patience.. silently waiting for peace.. for peace will not come with fighting though there will be still some pain in change. Then it grows to new found hope in new life.. perhaps a new start with a new career or growth in family. It was a serene feeling in the flow.. filled with optimistic confidence.. very nicely done!
