A Poem by Christina Marie

P A U S E
R e w i n d.
Immobilize time.
Sit (still) in a catatonic, hypnotic state;
staring aimlessly (pressing) for time to contemplate,
how to rhyme my next move perfectly, to live life eloquently
enough to write about it
someday.

Poe, -poeia, poetry
Decipher the cacophony
inside my brain the clash and clang
drives me insane. 'Ttempting to tame
the rushing racing constant pace.
Try to retrace my steps
to make sense of
it all.

P A U S E
R e w i n d.
Immobilize time.
Breath of release to calm the seas
and finally see what my next move
will be.

PLAY.
Say what I came to say.
There is no better time than today.
More beauty in imperfection than in perfection
I assure you, everything will be
okay.
