The Unspoken
A Poem by Colton Warr What is thy bidding, my dark haired princess? Just name the place and I'll be present in an instant What if you did? Just breathe my name into the air And send with it an invitation but only if you dare Your beauty has slowly dripped all over my feed Now, to meet you is something that I need I can't explain it, I seem to be broken Can I speak to you what is never spoken? What is thy wish, my living dream? For you are tearing my heart at its very seam Would you take a chance and reach out for my hand? And do these things that I humbly command? I long to know you, I long for a taste For us to collide, perhaps you should brace Only one chance is all that I desire And, doll, nothing else will you ever require And what if we did it? Let's kill the games Bury the corpses along with the shame I know you're wild and I do not wish to tame I just want to be the one that you claim © 2016 Colton WarrReviews
