Red-Headed Gemini

Red-Headed Gemini

A Poem by Colossus
"

A lady I saw from afar....

"

Her voice the sweet song of the whispering wind at daybreak,

Her hair the red-gold of of the sky at sunset in summer,

Her eyes the emerald green and blues of the tranquil sea,

Her skin the shining white clouds on a sunny day,

Her touch as the cool breeze on a spring day,

Her kiss sweeter than the most precious honey,

Her love rarer than the spun gold of the harper’s bow,

With her all is made right,

With her the sky is always blue,

With her the sea is always calm,

With her the sun always shines,

    With her summer lasts forever,

With her there is always warmth

With her there is always love

this poem is like pure butter- it flowed sooooo well with a great structure to it. what a sweet and simple poem, but with such mystery because even if we do not know the girl, you describe her as if she is an angel

The lay-out you've used for your writing reminds me of waves so i think of your words as a never ending flow of love between you and the other .. and in wonderful wordage, 'Her voice the sweet song of the whispering wind at daybreak.. ' ,, ' With her summer lasts forever.. '

"Her love rarer than the spun gold of the Harper's bow" Such a creative description that will always stick with me. The analogies were peaceful and soothing to the soul.
