RefugeA Poem by JennyinCOHe has poured Himself over me Like a drink offering dripping hope, Filling my wounds with beautiful healing light. He weaves and ties the strands Threefold strong, snugged up tight, To make for me An inpenetrable fortress, Towering high above the awful circumstance, A place where I can lay my head In this, His warmest refuge, His holy embrace. And I know no other quiet Want no other bed Than one where His peace has permeated, Leaving behind Him the fragrance of love itself Like a signature, everywhere Bringing calm. © 2013 JennyinCOReviews
