He could have won the Nobel Prize

In Physics, Math or Science

A more efficient Energy

For mankind to place reliance

He could have been a favorite Teacher

For many girls and boys

Or maybe he'd become a Preacher

To speak of love and joys

.

He could have been an Engineer

Invented a great Discovery

Bullet wounds filled his mind with fear

From which there was no recovery

.

Years go by and wars are won

For some the war was lost

So many lives had just begun

They paid the ultimate cost
