We Can Learn From This ExampleA Poem by Colorado BrianChildren are friendly, and caring and kind Looking at the world with a wide open mind
No worries or bias, of politics or race Having a good time with smiles on their face
Not judging others who might feel defeated This trait in adults is sometimes depleted
And this is just a sample And we can learn from this example
Guys in their 20's and ladies in 30's Give helping hands for foundations sturdy
Helping some others who've been dealt with less A hand lifting up, instead of repress
Good men and women in 40's and 50's Donate to causes they feel are thrifty
And this is just a sample And we can learn from this example
Folks who have reached 60's, 70's and 80's Wisened from time are these gents and these ladies
Spend time with kids teaching them a new craft Telling bad jokes yet both of 'em laughed
Sharing their knowledge with youth come of age Approaching tomorrow a fresh new blank page
Caring for others who need it the most Unassumingly helping with never a boast
And this is just a sample And we can learn from this example
