True Love

True Love

A Poem by COLLYMORE
"

So many versions of love but only one true definition of it won't you say?

"

By Stanley Collymore

Love isn’t a commodity that can be bought, sold

or bargained for, and were that to happen it

would immediately cease to be love and

instead become something that’s wholly

irreconcilable, at odds with and

completely dissimilar in every

way from the generally

accepted notion

of what love is

all about.

I rather prefer the authentic version of love

myself, which I wholeheartedly support

and thoroughly recommend; and

therefore don’t have any

desire let alone any intention

whatsoever of ever being

a willing party to

anything else.

You say that in a conservative way...and just go with the traditional aspect of love...
