Parting of the ways

Parting of the ways

A Poem by COLLYMORE
"

Being honest with one's self and firm with someone who is totally unsuited to one's life is logically the best move one can make.

"

By Stanley Collymore

I feel fully vindicated over what has happened between

us; for I always suspected that you were no good for

me although against my better judgement I went

ahead with our marital relationship. But now

even you are forced to acknowledge and

accept that I was right about that all

along. And unsurprisingly it’s the

only thing I’m pretty sure of

that you and I will ever

voluntarily agree on.
