Food for thought

A Poem by COLLYMORE
"

Live life the way you want to but be also prepared to accept the consequences of your actions.

"

By Stanley Collymore

It’s neither a duty nor is it obligatory to fall in

love, live with someone or have children. Since

to the typical intelligent person all these things

are actions that are entirely voluntary; so it’s

perverse in the extreme to embark on all

or some of them without due care,

then when things go wrong

blame others for your own faults. For

there comes a time when one must

accept responsibility for and take

full control of their own life,

and you my dear seem to

have mastered that art.
