What do you truly know?

What does it mean

to be inside out

does it mean i am glad

or do i want to shout

If your feelings are

only skin deep

then where are the

promises you keep?

Do you hide them

deep in your soul

because inside out

they’ve nowhere to go

Do you hide them

on top of your skin

so that when inside out

they are trapped within

Questions, but no answers

life’s riddles keep on

where do your promises

go when you’re gone

Inside out

sometimes how i feel

when i am questioning

what is real

I really like this, especially the 3rd stanza - one suggestion, perhaps remove that from promises you keep - just a suggestion, mind you, and nowhere could be joined.
