Follow Your Heart

This poem is dedicated to a dear friend of mine. I call her "Lily of the Valley"

You have always felt

Like someone else

hiding your feelings

and giving up

It’s time you

followed your heart

and made your dream

come true

can you feel it?

the beating inside

it calls you

follow your heart

Your head is swimming

you know this feeling well

but you have hidden yourself from it

afraid to know the truth

Follow your heart

you know you are right

follow your heart

into the night

Hide no more

find your strength

guide your hands

and follow your heart
