What an intriguing title, not what I was expecting....
You plague my thoughts
You infect my dreams
You burn my emotions
Sound like an obsession, sometimes they can make you feel naked to the world, or sleeveless I suppose. 'Wear your heart on your sleeve' took on a whole new meaning. Enjoyed!
Hardened your heart to love, to feeling, to emotion. Been hurt so badly that it seems impossible that you will ever feel again. Afraid of the light, of stepping back onto the brink of of that one thing you swore you would never venture into again. It is easier to remain numb than to ever love again . Easier to remain sleeveless than to ever again allow the fabric of love to touch your flesh. I love this.
This is definitely thought provoking...for some reason I know these feelings exactly (I think). Something that is there, but it is not. I want it there and I don't. A desire, but non-pain when it is not around. Sleeveless to me, to answer your question, is to be exposed, open for all to see...just not all of me, if that makes sense. Regardless, this poem found someplace deep inside of me and has truly caused me to think. Very well done...thank you for sharing.

Vulnerability....leaving yourself open to the world and to one person in particular it would seem. One who burns your emotions is not the sort to keep around, but the heart is not always wise, is it? Well expressed. Lydi**
