Apathetic Goodbye

Apathetic Goodbye

A Poem by Colette French

Oh, I am stalling span a while

Discarding time

Beneath numberless tries

How vacuous are her eyes

So proudly frail

Beyond doubt that you're scouring

Something that could have been

Between zestless stories

Could you zero in

Anything else than striping ?

Wasted papers and empty pens,

You try to remember the shape of our dreams.
