You're So LuckyA Poem by Colettethe love that never dies
you’re so lucky to have this unconditional love of mine i wish i could find someone to love me, so deeply, as i love you you’re so lucky to be loved so purely even from a distance so unselfishly, but painfully as i have battled cancer, isolation, and still wished you well i wish i could be loved like that from more than my cat, a human with a heart like mine if one exists i have to believe someone is in this world working their way toward me, because it must not be you who is meant to fill this void you you’re so lucky being loved by another woman children mother, and adoptive father you’re so lucky i bet you don’t realize it though i bet you don’t know how i’ve wept for you wished for you, kept on loving you through the years i’m so lonely no mother to hold me, no children for me to hold just this love i have for you, and this prayer that someone will love me as i have loved you i hope the lucky charms i carry, and wear on my wrist will serve some purpose because otherwise i feel like i haven’t
