Train from Grand Rapids (Feb. 28, 2013)A Poem by ColetteI’m on a train riding backwards, with a door opening to nowhere
I wonder if an angel just entered?
Gay boy #1 with a Nikon Gay boy #2 a potential terrorist Gay boy #3 bravely closed the door to nowhere
and me.
Maybe I’m a ghost? THE ghost.
I passed the land of lost mechanical things I passed a black horse meandering toward a white horse in a wide open field I passed a deer not unlike the pretend kind you see in people’s yards only living.
I don’t know how people kill those things?
Those living
breathing
souls. © 2013 Colette |
