Ahh this is heart wrenching, as my mom passed away in Feburary, of course, I was not a child, at the time, but an adult, yet still the fact that she is no longer physically present, brings pain and a sense of loss. In spite of much arguing and discontent, I know she loved me deep from within. And I loved her too. I am still learning to cope with her loss and yet at the same time I know she suffers no more.

Sighhhhh, its amazing how just three little words can tell such a sad story ~ that has my heart hurting so bad right now.

I look forward to reading more of your work William, and if this poem is an example of the rest it shouldn't take too long.

Take care & have a blessed day.

Day-um! Pretty close to "Jesus wept" and just as heartbreaking. Mr. Liston, this was startling in its brevity, and wondrous for its huge impact. Hmmph! Makes my heart hurt.

Spooky! Although quite adequate within itself, it provokes a desire to write the girl a story. Unique. Good thought. I.I.
