The Actor That Dies In A Movie. (AJ Leong)A Poem by Cole HayleyThis a poem written for all the actors that die in a movie.
The actor that dies in a movie, Plays his part with a blinding passion. The actor must stop his breathing And force his muscles to loosen his limbs They will follow suit. When the fake blood trickles down his face, And runs on his tattered shawl, He will show no signs of remorse. He will not be pretentious. The actor has no dialogue, He has no cues to fulfil. Even when the others have their breaks, The actor must be as stagnant as a still life. Still bleeding like a polaroid When the director calls for the days end, The actor will awaken like a zombie. He will shake hands with the rest of the crew, As he tries to find the keys to his pick up. On the way home the actor fantasizes. He fantasizes about his bed, How he will crawl in it when he gets home, And how he will force his muscles to loosen his limbs. Becoming completely lifeless. © 2012 Cole HayleyAuthor's Note
