I Wish To Be Told When To Die

I Wish To Be Told When To Die

A Poem by Cole Hayley

I Wish To Be Told When To Die

I wish to be told when to die

No chance to spit, or question why

I wish to be told when to die

I wish to be told when to cry

For my mothers death, and my

Wish to be told when to die.

I wish to be told when to die

To circle completely my own eye

Then I wish to be told when to cry

I wish to be told a creepy lie

An improper sit, but a bed to lie

I wish to be told when to die.

An unusual piece - I'd prefer death to come quickly and without warning. What is there to prepare for when knowing?
