![]() prayer in a birdcageA Poem by Daniel Atkinsonoh, this routine! this damned routine! it crawls like a wax-covered fly in november over hairless skin and twisted horns and the voices of the watching these days there are parameters and mediators and the like but i have never been one for structure. let's leave order for the orderly and discord for the holy men.
none of us will be happy to hear the following but there is no god if he can be controlled by prayer and woodwork and television doesn't that defeat the purpose of a god, if he can only exist within a rusted birdcage? i personally do not agree with his methods but i can respect his apparent intellect it is advertised frequently and spoken highly of in bars and jails and war camps and yes, even churches but miracles cannot be born into a world of iron and structure, doesn't anyone see that? © 2011 Daniel AtkinsonAuthor's Note
