The White DeathA Poem by ca.shortyEnjoy.
The White Death comes once a year
Everything dies, along with me I fear Parents shed tears And trees leaves are shedding near The White Death is right after fall Children no longer play with a ball Trees are not looking so tall I’d better go inside Winter is coming and death has sent its call The White Death is taking me with it I’m colder than the snow by just a bit No more Christmas just wait and sit My time has come winter came with a big hit The White Death takes me on the ice one last time All I can do is sit and rhyme I hear my mom call for me and our clocks chime I ignore her for I know, my life has reached its time © 2018 ca.shortyAuthor's Note
