Lines

Lines

A Poem by Coldwind

She sat there, pen in hand

Wondering what to write.

Something to make him understand

Why.

Leaning over the paper,

Her tears fell sullenly

Over the blue lines.

So blue.

Blue like veins.

Veins pumping life

Through an empty paper

An empty body.

She folded the paper gently

And walked away.

The blank lines would tell him more

Than she could ever bring herself to say.

Simple, well written, and beautiful! I really enjoyed the way you pulled it together. Keep writing............
Blessings, peace, love and light to you.

I absolutely love the last part. It makes a very good ending. The rest of the writing is a bit simple, especially the beginning. I suggest using more detail, but it's just a suggestion. Good write.

Somehow, life has gotten in the way of my writting. Even if just for preserving myself, I thought I would make time. I see a lot of beauty in the darker things in life, and growing up watching horro.. more..
