LinesA Poem by ColdwindShe sat there, pen in hand Wondering what to write. Something to make him understand Why. Leaning over the paper, Her tears fell sullenly Over the blue lines. So blue. Blue like veins. Veins pumping life Through an empty paper An empty body. She folded the paper gently And walked away. The blank lines would tell him more Than she could ever bring herself to say. © 2009 ColdwindReviews
