Sensamia

Sensamia

A Poem by Coldwind

Smash the lights

That hurt my eyes

As the clouds

Of Mary rise

Spinning circles

Through the room

Greenish haze

Of sweet perfume

She dances with

The walking dead

A wreath of poppies

For her head

Shrunken souls

Who only live

For sweet release

Her kiss can give

Grasp her form

With shaking hands

They bend her will

To their demands

She drops her eyes

And smokey shawl

She parts her lips

And gives her all

As plesant visions

Float above

She turns away

From Fickle love

And leaves them there

In sweetest pain

Until she's called

To dance again
