Christine

Christine

A Poem by Coldwind

Down in that place

Is where I remember best

Screams like leaves

Canopy over my body

As I lay there forgotten.

The did not find me for years

And I buried myself with leaves

Until the dogs came

And I was "Evidence A".

They worried over me

But my past was lost

With the murder weapon at large

And the man who weilded it.

Interred, I still knew no peace.

The screams still canopied my soul

Only now, it was dark.
