Darkness

you tell me

And so it comes

This present darkness

That consumes me so

Taking over every little light

Drawing me from the sun

Into this never ending night

Where I fade as most do

Into sudden gloom

So envoke this night

To linger on

As my shadow grows

Only to collapse

In the presence of total darkness

Where I am lost

Or I am found
